Three Face

The ancient Japanese believed that we as humans contain three faces. A face we show the world and a face we save for our loved ones. The final face is considered the truest form of ourselves. No matter how hard we as humans try to show true colors we will never reveal who we truly are. Growing up we grasp this concept of sometimes having to hide our true colors. Hiding that third face of ours is natural but on occasion we hide our emotions and the consequences can be detrimental.

  1. This is an awesome first blog post Andrew! I've always been a fan of the ancient Japanese and Egyptian beliefs so this definitely grabbed my attention. I completely agree with this belief. It's funny how certain people can bring various different personalities out of you. It is simply amazing how even the most shy and composed person can have a totally vibrant and vivacious side depending on who they are around. Maybe it's just our natural human instinct to conform to our surroundings that shapes us into these "three faces". Really interesting read! (:
